My Cultural Upbringing.

I was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on July 13, 1953. My parents were immigrants form Europe after World War II.
My Father was originally from Tzebinia, Poland and my mother is from Salder, Salzgitter, Germany. My father spoke Polish, German, Yiddish, and a few other European languages. My mother spoke German and Polish. They came to Canada after first staying in Israel for a while. After the war, my father's Family which had been reduced from a family of 13 brothers and sisters to only 7, were offered certain countries they could immigrate to. On my Father's side one of my Aunts went to Yugoslavia, 2 aunts went to England, 1 uncle to the US, another uncle to Australia and I lost track of 1 aunt.
Even though my mother was originally Catholic, she converted for my sake to Judaism in Canada. My Father was Jewish and I was raised Jewish. I have since made my own decision concerning religion, and I practice my freedom of Religion here in Canada by alternating religions so as not to appear ultra anything in any one sect.
My father died when I was 13 years old. Right after that, I joined the Military Cadets and then eventually the military reserve in Canada. I served with them until 1978. I joined mostly for the travel. I succeeded in going to Jamaica, Germany twice and did 1 tour in Cyprus.
I then started my education, first my CEGEP years or Grades 10-12 in Quebec. I started University in Houston, staying with my cousin there. I finished my degree at McGill back in Montreal. I succeeded in getting an education Diploma and some certificates for teaching. This made me more eligible for when they did start hiring teachers. I finally starting getting teaching positions around 1988. I've now been teaching with the same school board for the last 14 years.
Due to my religious education I lean toward Judaic principles however I have found that all religions including Judaism harbour a sense of  "My religion is better than yours", and that is why whenever someone ask me what religion I am, I usually answer "This week I'm Catholic, but next week I'll be Jewish".
I now have spent my last 18 years in education as an instructor in the military and now as a teacher.
I knew Polish, German  and Hebrew as a child but lost it since I did not use them. Educators then told my parents that since my basic language English was suffering, I should drop using the other languages and just concentrate on English and French.

My Possible career in the future. (According to Career Cruising)
One of the assignments we had to do in class was to answer a set of questions concerning possible career choices for the future. The program was called Career Cruising. After answering each set of questions we saw results based on our answers. The top two most likely careers appear at the very top. They are as follows:

Bank Manager
Military Officer

My Prospective Business Venture.

Another assignment we had was to write a short memo to our teacher explaining what a possible business venture will be about. Below you will see a copy of that letter:
